Fun Ship Dollars on Carnival Cruise Ships

I have fun ship dollars on a gift certificate that are to be applied to on board credit. For what services, products, etc can this $ be used?

I just went to the pursers desk and had it applied to my account. I think they said it can't be used for tips and gambling but I never had a problem with them seperating out the different expenses
