Default Own gambling on shiip?

Going on a 65 day cruise on Holland America's Amsterdam in September. Has anyone ever played board games or poker for money elsewhere on the ship?

I've seen lots of people playing board games. Can't say I've seen them gambling over scrabble

I have seen some people set up a texas holdem table on Lido deck by the pool.

I saw the same as Kuki did. There were a group of guys at 2 different tables playing Hold'em. They were using chips though not actual money at the table.

I'm a little suprised the ship would allow this to go on after if you are playing on the lido deck they don't get a cut of the action.

I have heard of the ship providing the chips for a "honorarium".
The hold 'em in the casino is a computer and therefore s****.
Only my opinion, of course.
