Mercury 3/23/01

There are really great rates out for this cruise. Cruise only rates start at $649. per person double occupancy. Singles start at $839. I found out about this from the article posted in the cruise bargains section on this website. They advised contacting a particular agency but Celebrity is offering these rates thru any travel agent. The cruise is Friday-Friday, though, so it would probably mean taking an extra vacation day. It visits San Juan (1pm-8pm),Catalina/Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic (7am-6pm),St. Thomas (10am-6pm) & Nassau (11am-7pm). There are 2 full days at sea as well. I found that most cruises this time of year are running about $300. per person more for minimum rates. Probably the Friday departure makes it less attractive but the Mercury is one gorgeous ship.
