NCL Buys the SS UNITED STATES, will return her to service!

Just incase there are other of us ocean liner fanatics in here NCL annouced today that they have purchased the classic historical liner SS United States and the SS Independence. This is a major event in Maritime history as the SSUS was possibly going to be scrapped if not saved soon. One of the most beautiful ships of all time will be completely refurbished, and returned to service flying the American flag and completely modern.

Yes, incredible news! I hope NCL will stay the course with her. And while I'm totally day-dreaming, I hope NCL will give her a unique & classy exterior paint scheme. And retro-look interiors. Oh my. Feeling faint again.
