Default Posting on this board

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am finding posts here that are quite inapproprate and have had to delete a number. The Gay/Lesbian board's concept is so that people, especially Gay/Lesbian can have a forum to discuss cruising and issues about cruising. It was not, and is not a board set up for people to troll for others for sexual relations. It is up to you folks to watch over this board and make sure that these types of posts are brought to our attention and removed. To allow posts such as those to remain does nothing more than give the homophobics and other ignorant people ammunition to proclaim that Gays and Lesbian are nothing but a bunch of abnormal perverts which we know is not the case. I have a feeling that some of these posts are made by straight people trying to bring shame to a segment of our readers and they should not be allowed to succeed. Please let myself or one of the other message board monitors know of questionable posts.
Thanks
Jim

You posted this in the middle of May, but there have been a lot of posts since then that are of the type that most of us agree are undesirable. Why don't you just pull the posts?

Well, I am only one person and there are thousands of posts. <G> If someone runs across a post that they think may violate the TOS for posting then by all means, e-mail me and let me know where it is so that I or one of the other moderators can check it out. We appreciate it.
Jim

Thanks Jim for keeping things a little more above board here! In the long run we all win from this kind of standard.

Sure it is! I meet all kinda of folks on every cruise and have a great time. I know many singles that cruise and also meet folks and have fun and some keep in touch and some I am sure form lasting relationships. But trolling looking for nothing but one night stands is pretty degrading. That is something that losers do, not decent and intelligent folks.

The only way that those offensive posters will ever disappear completely is to require registration to post.

I agree with veteran. If they won't leave their e-mail address, then their comments are useless to anyone because they can say anything.

Anyone can set up a garbage email addy on yahoo or hotmail in a matter of seconds.

They'd probably squeal with delight to get a response and text message all their junior high friends about it.
