Would anyone have any leads to gay or gay friendly cruises Stockholm to St. Petersburg and back to Stockholm, hitting Helsinki and/or Talinn? Most of the offers I've seen are too long, waste too moch time at sea and don;t spend enough time in St. Pete's. Any thoughts? Thnaks a mil.
Radisson Seven Seas Voyager has 8 (count 'em, 8!!) cruises in the Baltic this summer with three day/two night stops in St. Petersburg. My partner and I are on the last one, departing 19 August from Stockholm. Check them out on the Radisson website, www.rssc.com. Good luck. Fred
We took the Norwegian Dream from Dover. There was just one dat at sea because the ship goes through the Kiel Canal. We had two days in St. Petersburg. I didn't just love the Dream but the pricing was very reasonable and the itinerary was wonderful. We ate in Le Bistro almost every night because the food was far better than the standard fare.
We visited Waramunde Germany, Talinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. Thos tour was R.T. London (Dover). Talinn was our favorite! Do all your shopping there. The prices are great and the selection is wonderful. Plus it is a beautiful city for shopping, walking, and just enjoying the medieval charm of the city.
Have lunch at the St. Petersburg Hotel in Talinn. They have fivr star outdoor dining. I had the most incredible shrimp sandwich on homemade Russian peasant bread.
Caronia get our vote. Thier is a Pied Piper sailing leaving soon and another next year. I wrote a review about the Coronia trip to St. Petersburg we did in 2001. You can find it post here and over at www.cruisecritics.com
