Serenade of the Seas 9-15-03 anyone?

My partner and I are going on our first-ever cruise on RCI's Serenade of the Seas from NY to Eastern Canada, departing on 9/15. Is anyone else going? We're concerned about having like-minded dinner companions! Cheers!

You can add one more to the list. I'm not sure what type of people we'll see on board this particular cruise. My guess would be a somewhat older crowd as you see in Alaska. We'll have to get a FOD party organized! Hope to meet you on board.

I think you're right - an older, Alaskan-type cruise crowd. Might be relaxing, actually! Have you gone on a Canadian cruise in the past?

Since we're newbie cruisers - can you tell me if there are organized FOD meetings, or is it something you arrange yourself when finding like-minded folks aboard?

I am seriously considering this cruise myself. Mind if I ask your ages? Not a big deal but nice to know. I am looking for this cruise to be a cozy get away from east coast life even if no palm trees...last year in Alaska I found my lounge chair near the heated pool and enjoyed..same chair every day for 7 days..hope I can as lucky for 5 days.

Congrats Marie on your recent birthday. I'm from Nashville, TN. My partner, who unfortunately can't come with me on this trip, is from Louisville, KY.

Marie you sound like us. We're sailing the same time frame except heading in different directions -- . We haven't cruised before and no way we could afford an Olivia when RCI is offering such great deals.
