Default SEABOURN or SEADREAM anyone?

Has anyone been on Seabourn or Seadream yachts?

If so what did you think and would you do it again?

We're tyring to decide whether or not to do one or the other.

Thanks kindly.

My partner and I have been on Seabourn twice. The first was the 'Seabourn Sun' (which has left the Seabourn fleet). Very good. The ship itself didn't fit with Seabourn's visiion of small ships.

Earlier this year, we did the Seabourn Spirit in southeast Asia. Excellent. Service was impeccable and friendly. Never felt uncomfortable being a gay couple. I'd highly recommend Seabourn.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.

Both Seabourn and SeaDream are wonderful ... but both have no balconies [well, Seabourn now has some cabins with "French Balconies" [which means, albeit they have a wall of glass with sliders, you can not really step outside -- unless you have no desire to step back inside []] ... both have limited public rooms/facilites ... and I feel both carry too few passengers to provide much entertainment.

As there are two of you, you still should enjoy either [having sailied both -- albeit as a Single -- I would prefer Seabourn over SeaDream].

As an aside, I do recommend you also consider Silversea [quite luxurious] or Radisson [luxurious] ... these vessels are larger and have a higher ratio of space-per-passenger [but still have single seating in the main Dining Room] ... have bigger cabins with balconies ... and have better public space providing more entertainment and facilities.
