ANYONE GOING ON JULY 11TH NCL/DAWN/ROSIE CRUISE FROM NYC?

Hi...My girlfriend,son and I will be on this cruise...I think its great they finally have a cruise for the whole "family"!! We are really looking foward to this...but I have been reading alot of bad reviews about this ship, that we were almost ready to back out of it!! But I'am sure like us, are alot of gay/lesbian families just waiting for something like this....its a chance for us to be open, free and proud of whom we are with our families with no discrimation. It's also an oppurtunity to meet some great people... so with these thoughts and an open mind we deceided to go!! If anyone has any information about excursions or anything else we should know (its our first cruise) please pass it on!! See ya soon!!

My girlfiend and I are going on this cruise , along with my 2 teenage kids. I haven't heard horrible reviews of this ship, actually I've read a number of nice ones (on the cruise critic board). How old is your child, that will help you determine which excursions you might take. This will be my second cruise. I took my younger daughter to Alaska last summer on Celebrity. Now that was a wonderful ship!!
