The ship is lovely. For a sailing vessel the visual impact of the atrium that opens into the dining room three decks below is magnificent...and the light filtering from the glass bottom pool overhanging the atrium is very unique..especially if an early pool user swims or sits in his birthday suit I sailed on her in the Med with RSVP and had a great time. The crew was great and never turned off. In fact the Maitre D gave me a kiss on my birthday during dinner. How accomodating is that..they even photographed the even for my memories. It is not a mega liner.....so don't expect big shows..but the ambiance on board is great, good food, good bar service...water sports and a small gym with portholes below the water level.....real cool!
If it wasn't for the Westerdams sailing in Feb, I would be sailing with you. Instead I am booked on her smaller sister the Star Clipper this December...the change from a big ship is a lot of fun...enjoy!
Nope. We did an RSVP in spring of 2001 aboard the Carnival Celebration, but haven't used them since. We've done a couple of Windjammer trips since then. We prefer sailing ships over the mega-liners. If you are interested, our pictures are at http://18.104.22.168/
