FOD?

Ok,

I'm confused, what is FOD? I've tried and tried to figure out what it means and can't put my finger on it. Anyone? I'm sure I'll groan when I hear the explanation

FOD stands for "Friends of Dorothy" the acronym for "Gay and Lesbian Persons." On some ships, there are FOD meetings for gay/lesbian passengers to get together and meet, much like the Friends of BillW meetings.
