My partner and I have sailed NCL and Celebrity several times. Either of these lines will give you some of the best service, especially in food choices. I think you will find the cost of cruising on either of these lines is affordable. We chose our cruise cost around $85 to $120 per day per person. We feel they are both gay friendly and will offer FOD meeting if you chose. Our last Celebrity cruise was 14 days and we had a FOD meeting posted each night in the piano lounge. We’ve been on both mega ships and smaller ships and like the smaller ship best. For your first cruise spend a little more and get a cabin with a balcony so you can chose your own time of privacy. But don’t be shy in meeting people we have never had an unkind word or felt discarded by any of the groups or individuals.
Enjoy your first cruise and you’ll find you will want to do it again.
We are sailing out of Houston Texas on the NCL Dream Oct 22nd for seven days. This ship has average cabin and very few balconies but the rate for an ocean view picture window is only $598.00. You’re welcome to check on availability and join us.
Hope this helps.
