Buenos Aires Hotel

Looking for a place for a one night stay prior to sailing......any suggestions?
Also, any legit gay guides in that town...not an escort but someone to show me the sights and perhaps the gay end of town.

I've always used the "Gran Hotel Dorá" on Calle Maipú. It's a small European botique style hotel, very centrally located.
