Hey Sydney Boys,

I am a single guy from Washington, DC but just thought I say I'm gonna be a cruise. It's gonna be great.

I am also on the cruise....again as a single.
Since I think Aussies are the best....please pack one in your baggage so I have a cutie to have dinner with in the specialty dining room. And.....since the Australians treated me so fine when I was in Sydney in 2003...the first round of drinks are on me.
I am in cabin 7512.

Great to hear from all of you. We're getting into San Diego the day before the cruise.

What are your plans for the night before?

Anyone have any tips on what to do in SD?

Hey Guys,

Gary and I will be sailing on the Radiance as he indicated in an earlier posting. We have not yet decided if we are going to go down to SD the night before or not. He lives in LA, I am waaay up north in Minneapolis.

Keep in touch and we will let you know what we are doing. My home email is andyminn@aol.com

Hey guys !!!

I didn't see this thread so I started my own..... then looked down and ...OOPS...

Anyways, my partner and I are both looking forward to this trip immensely. This will be our first all gay cruise so we're sure there's going to be lots fun and intersting people to meet. Have any of you been on this kind of cruises before ? I would love to hear more about it.... anything that will help us know what to pack and stuff... are there themed parties ? How many ? etc.... as you can tell I'm kinda excited. We're from Toronto, Canada and we too think Ausies are supper cool. We'll be in San Diego the Wednesday before the sailing... just to enjoy the city and surounding area. Hope to chat and meet with you on the ship !

Looks like this thread is picking up momentum as we get closer to casting off.

We'll be flying in from Toronto the day before also, and will be at Hamburger Mary's for a beverage (or two).

We have been advised that our travel doc's will be available for collection the day of the cruise - has anybody received theirs already?

We have been warned by our travel agent that Atlantis is notorious for sending out the travel documents in the last minutes... so no... we have not heard/recieved anything yet. We do have some concern regarding disembarkation since our flight is at 12:55 pm on the day that we disembark ... but listen to me... I haven't been on the cruise and already I'm thinking about coming home ! This is going to be awesome... See you all at Hamburger Mary's the night before casting off !

Hey guys,

Based on experience I am not expecting my documents before October 5. Atlantis mails them in a metalic blue envelope. But don't worry, it all works out in the end.

I'll be in San Diego Friday afternoon. Staying at the Park Manor Suites just south of Hillcrest. I will be at their rooftop happy hour Friday afternoon. Also Hambergur Mary's will be hot both Friday night and Saturday for brunch.

J&V- don't think about the end of the trip yet. But I think you'll be fine with your flight. You will be asked onboard what time your flight is and they will schedule you off in time. Plus the airport is right in town not far from the port.

Don't forget to bring items to decorate your cabin door.

Chris, the Park Manor is very nice -- very NY feeling. Good piano bar (from when I was there 4 years ago) on the bottom floor, too

Gee, maybe I will stop by this roof top in the afternoon to see who is all there. Chris, I saw your photos on BM..........nice! You will obviously be very popular on the cruise.
Looking forward to Hamburger mary's........sound like a great start to a great cruise.

Looks like the Park Manor Happy Hour is also the place to be. What time does it start?

We've hastily cobbled together a photo....but just listen for the difference in accent!

Default Friday night

Hey Sydney Guys,

I would guess the Park Manor gets going around 5pm.

I just noticed on the Atlantis webpage for this cruise that there is also going to be a precruise cocktail party at the W hotel that night. I definately plan on swinging by there as well.

Default OMG it was great!

Still missing the Radiance and her wonderful crew. And all the fun boys and girls Atlantis assembled for the week.

It was a truely spectacular adventure. Charo rocked. And Miss Richfield, Dixie Longate, Shann Carr, Matt Yee, Deborah Cox were all wonderful. I'm sure I forgetting some as there were so many entertainers. Cabo San Lucas was stunning. The White Party was huge.

Rich Campbell has a great company in Atlantis.
