Westerdam HA in the Caribbean

Hello,
A friend and I (from Paris, France) will be in the Westerdam ship (Holland America) in the Caribbean (seven nights from Fort-Lauderdale to Fort-Lauderdale visiting Tortola, St. Marteen, Bahamas). This cruise is departing on next January 22n 2006.
Any other friends in this cruise?
Anyone kows this ship?
What do you think of Holland America? Is it very different from Celebrity? (We like classical style.)
How are the formal nights in cruises visiting the Caribbean? Many tuxedos?
Do you know a nice hotel in Fort-Lauderdale? And in South Miami beach? (Good service and good price!)
