Default Ahoy Grandeur Of The Seas

Royal Caribbean Grandeur Of The Seas

Passengers of the September 2nd sailing

Where on earth did they take you? Your itinerary obviously could not be kept due to Hurrican Ophelia

We are booked on the Grandeur, for the October 14th sailing and wonder if there is a tropical disturbance out there then just where would or could they take us.

Reply please.

Well, as we are none the wiser as to where this ship goes in the event of a tropical disturbance, aka hurricane, let us try for a Roll Call for the 9 day Royal Caribbean Grandeur Of The Seas sailing out of Baltimore October 14th.

Anyone else going to be aboard? The itinerary looks interesting and any ship in the night detour might be even more so

Hi Ron & Jon -

Just saw your post. We were on the September 2nd sailing. The only disruption that Ophelia caused us was that we skipped the call at Port Canaveral and had an extra sea day instead.

But I was just looking at the RCI web site and for the Grandeur sailing that departed a day late on September 17th, in addition to skipping Freeport and CoCo Cay, now they are also skipping Key West because the port is closed and sailing directly to Cozumel.

Hope you guys have better luck with the weather.

Thanks for the good weather wishes for our October 14th sailing.

Can you give us the name the bar aboard the Grandeur that would be the most likely locale to meet FOD members. Just in case.

Thanks

You know, for all the previous hoopla about sailing out of Baltimore aboard the Grandeur, there sure is a lot of silence when it come to simple inquiries. This is our first attempt at RCCL out of this port and would appreciate some information.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Have really been busy at work. **Edited for commercial content by moderator**.

The Viking Crown Lounge becomes a disco in the evening and lots of boys were dancing with boys on our cruise! Say "hello" to Max and A.J. - our two favorite bartenders in the Viking Crown. Tell them Adam and Bob said "Hi".

Hope you guys have a great cruise.

Well, at least we survived the Grandeur. Once bitten twice shy... Simply said, there was as much cigarette smoke in the rooms, corridors, bars and lounges as there was coming out of the stack. When you could find a smoke free area the bilge tank disposal stench entered the entire ship. HOWEVER...

How on earth did Royal Caribbean systems arrange for the two most formidable FOD couples, unknown to each other, to be seated at the same dinner table? Most interesing !
