Hey Wiscguy,

I saw you have been on the Voyager and the Radiance. Now you are sailing on the Mariner (another Voyager class ship).

I am going on the Brillance in less than 2 weeks and have never been on a Radiance Class ship before. Was it the itinerary or the ship that made you go back to the Voyager Class?

What class ship do you like better?

Sorry I am not joining you. I saw on the "2 queer guys" thread that you were looking for a drinking buddy, I would have been glad to knock a few back with you on the Mariner, but the Brillance was calling.

Hey Tom

This cruise is with the "real family" so it was decided that we needed a ship that offered more for the kids. We sailed on Adventure years ago as a family, and the "kids" enjoyed the voyager class ships. The itinerary is also taking us to Jamaica... and my parents haven't been there since their 25th anniversary. I will be staying on board the ship that day since I wasn't impressed with first visit to Ocho Rios... and don't want to spend my $$$ in a country that is very intolerant towards my other family.

Anyways... . I prefer the smaller feel of the Radiance class ships and I originally wanted to sail on Jewel... but I couldn't bring my family around to my point of view(Bad odds 9 against 2). You will love the Brillance... lots of great small lounges and places to get away. I love the glass wall in the elevator bank that overlooks the ocean... and great nightclub/disco in the viking crown lounge.

Would be fun to be on same ship and have some drinking buddies... but if is anything like my last straight cruise... I am sure to make friends with some new family. I am sure you will do the same!!
