Default Has Cruisemates ever organized a FOD group?

I think I could sail with anyone from cruisemates, the straights here seem to be pretty open-minded. But since I'm new here I'm wondering if they've ever done a cruise catering to family. And if not, is it in the cards for the future?

Great question, but no FOD cruises through Cruisemates since I've been here (5 years).

But you are right about the group here ... we are going on our second official Cruisemates cruise in January, but have sailed a third and fourth time with a large contingent from the web site and have always had a blast. One of those cruises (on the Diamond) we had several gay couples from Cruisemates ... had a great time.

I agree, too, that by and large, I find most people here very welcoming and accepting ... we always have a great time.

Thats good, I think the others know I play for the other team, but I keep the gay related posts confined to this room only.

I've had the pleasure of meeting many of the CruiseMates group and sailing with them in the past. They are a great group, and I'm sailing with a bunch (an 'unofficial' cruise) in February then again on the "Cruise of the Century" New Years 2006 into 2007 on the Century - why don't you join us?

I thought about it and I was invited by several people, but the timing doesn't work for me. I've also never been to the Caribbean and when I do cruise down there I want a longer cruise visiting more ports.

For the time being, I don't want a long airline flight and prefer cruises closer to home. If they ever do a 7 day Alaska or Mexico, I will be there.
