Voyager of the Seas January 14th (Western Caribbean)

Just booked a week on the VOS and wanted to see if there's other 'guys' out there who might be on this sailing.

Does anyone know if RCCL has FOD gatherings? I just got off the Princess Sapphire and they had 4 FOD gatherings on the sailing.

i was on voyager a few months ago out of bayonne nj. it is an amazing ship but they didn't have any fod parties. still it is a very easy to meet people on that ship.

btw what was your impression of the sapphire princess and do you have any suggestion! i am sailing on her january 28th to the mexico. thanks for any input!

The Sapphire is a beautiful ship. Lots of different types on the ship and there must have been 30 or so guys on board - probably since it was out of LA. The food wasn't the greatest and the entertianment (although I appreciate how much work goes into the shows) weren't that great. I am comparing the Sapphire to my only other cruise (RCCL Navigator OTS last January).

You said it was easy to meet people on the Voyager. How so and do you mean you met other gay guys??

there is a club on board called "THE VAULT" which is a really great place to meet other guys (after 11:00pm). also we met another gay couple at the adult pool area. By the way the spa/gym area is amazing on the ship. Trust me you will have no problem meeting other guys on board! By the way were is the best place to meet other guys on sapphire princess and anything we "must do" when we are in port??

Mitch, the bar at Crooners was the big hangout in the evening after dinner when we sailed on the Diamond.

By the way, search my name in the photo galleries for our uploads on teh Diamond -- it's identical.

For port info, also post on the Mexico board -- lots of good input.
