My partner and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary next March. We recently booked a voyage on Oceania's Nautica sailing from Beijing to Hong Kong. We would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has previously sailed on Oceania.
You'll love Oceania because it's small, the staff is friendly an considerate, and the food and service are excellent. We found the ship officers and ordinary staff members to be very gay-friendly. Oceania has found a niche in the cruising industry which capitalizes on their smaller ships and their ability to cater to an upscale clientele seeking affordable luxury.
Because the ships are smaller, you will not have the big Broadway-style shows that you have on larger ships. The entertainment is cabaret-style but still of a very high caliber. The ships have excellent libraries, but do not expect a hot disco night life onboard.
