Sorry, I won't be on that trip, but my partner and I will be on the POH later in the year. If you follow the "NCL cruiseline" board at this site there has been considerable discussion about the service and food on the POA. In short most people think it's poor. Personally I say there is no such thing as a bad cruise, it's all in what you make of it. Don't expect this cruise to be as pampering and formal as some other cruises, relax and have a good time. One suggestion, if you plan on trying any "alternative" restaurents make your reservations as soon as you board. Have fun! Jimbo

I agree, it's all what you make it! I have read many positive reviews and negative reviews. Usually found the negative reviews end up being from those expecting the QE2 type of cruise. And then there are some that you just cannot make happy no matter what. We are very excited for the trip and it will be a great time no matter what the service is like. haha Although I will say am nervous, as all previous trips to Hawaii have been to base in a Waikiki Hotel and then Inter-island jump with air. It will be interesting to see how not being in Waikiki every night will be. Angle's and Hula's will definately miss out on some good tourist money though! :) Flying in the day before so will at least get some Oahu time.

I am going on this cruise also. I also will be in Honolulu for two days before the cruise.
