Meeting gay cruisers on non-gay-chartered ships/cruises.

We went on Golden Princess last year (March 2006) to the southern Caribbean. In our stateroom daily newsletter/schedule one morning, we noted there would be a 5:00 p.m. Rainbow (or some similar code word title) cocktail reception in one of the bars (up on the 17th deck!). We went; and we met most of the women from the Toronto Women's Chorus and many other LGBT's. We had a wonderful time. We were told that all you need to do is ask the Cruise Director to reserve a time and place and put it in the ship's schedule and, voila!, you have an LGBT "cohort" among whom you can make instant friends while on any mainline cruise.

I was on the Golden Princess last year and we didnt even have to ask for a GLBT meeting , half the cruise staff was gay. we meet up the first morning and a group of us spent rest the week hanging out. I made some great freinds on that trip.
