I'm looking for a cabin mate to sail with me from Barcelona to Venice on the new Azamara Journey, April 25 - May 5, 2008. It's a straight cruise, but there's a group of 15 or 20 gay men going, so it should be fun. Balcony cabins are $2599--not bad for 10 days on this new line, I think.
Note that I'm not going on this cruise for sex--just scenery (the kind outside my window, I mean).
The ports look great--Monte Carlo, Florence, Rome, Sorrento, Dubrovnik, Split, and an overnight in Venice. In fact, there's only one sea day, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to get away from me if the cabin starts to seem too small.
I'm in my early 60s, non-smoker, living in Philadelphia. I like wine, bridge, travel, foreign affairs, and politics. You'd probably say I'm intellectual--but not stuffy, I hope. I'm a fun-loving intellectual, if that makes sense. Have traveled all over the place--China, Russia, Antarctica, India, Israel, Europe--but there's always more to see. Anyone want to join me?
