Going cruising for the first time with my partner of 4 years. Haven't got a clue what to expect. Will we be able to easily meet other gay people on board? Will it be necessary to hde the fact we are a couple? My research tells me that I can request an FOD meeting. Is this something that is well received on cruise ships?

Ive sailed out San Juan before, there are some gay clubs in old San Juan, are you and your partner going to spend a few days before sailing out? i find that I meet more GLBT people by attending the FOD meetings on board ship.

Oh thanks very much!! I appreciate your help. We are leaving PR the same day we arrive, so no time to find a gay club or two! But, are the gay clubs close to the port? We have the afternoon to hang out in PR. Maybe we could at least have a drink before heading out!
