i'm totally new in cruising world but have will to travel around.
Since I'm gay and single and not US citizen I have certain limitations or different perspective :-)
I would like to take one of all-gay cruise because I think as a solo traveler I'll have more chance to bond with others. Not that I'm unable to communicate with strangers on str8 ship but for the very first time I think this could be better decision.
If I have to start somewhere, I think I would pick Caribbean , motherland of cruise.
I found RSVP (February 21 – 28, 2009) | Holland America Eurodam from Ft. Lauderdale and Atlantis (January 25 - Feb 1 2009) Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. Available prices for cabin share program are almost the same.
So, how to choose?
I like easygoing and relaxed atmosphere, meeting all type of guys, 35yo, southeast european origin, nonsmoker, having fun on holidays etc.
Could you mates help me? What would be better option for the beginning?
How about cabin share? What are your experience? (i traveled a lot so I can be low profile in cabin if situation demands it)
I would appreciate any help, advice, direction...thanks.
Atlantis is known as more of a "party" type of vacation, with RSVP more laid back. Both brands show a world of beautiful people which we would all aspire to be. In reality, the vast majority of the cruisers, are just like you and me - that's why they have never asked me to be in their ads!
We are not party people, but feel totally comfortable on Atlantis. You will have a great time.
