BEST VERANDA? SIDE VERSUS BACK OF SHIP?

Hello,
My partner and Il will be sailing on the Celebrity Solstice in February and want to get a cabin with a veranda. Motion sickness is not a concern and we were considering a veranda off the back of the ship. Does anyone have thoughts on the pros and cons of side versus back of ship for verandas?

Hi Paul and Marc -

Since nobody is jumping in...I'll give you my thought. Depending upon your itinerary, I would most likely go with the Aft cabin. Unless your sailing down the Amazon or a Caribbean cruise, there most likely will be some movement and you'll feel it more at the bow or stern. Mid-ship is best for those who do not like the rocking...

We usually stay in a larger bump-out veranda at the bow of the ship and like the ship's movement. We also have enjoyed Aft cabins too. 8)
