I have only cruised on Princess, and they are very gay friendly. But I think all the cruise lines are pretty much gay friendly now days. I look forward to hearing what others have to say.

although I have yet to take my first cruise.... but just by communicating with people in this and other similar forums.. I have found that most everyone has been very open minded and friendly towards me once the find out i'm gay.
*obviously, people may react differently towards me once they meet me in person. For the most part, though.. it appears that most of the major cruise lines welcome and may even go out of their way to include not only gay travelers, but make everyone feel welcome. I sure hope that's the case.
scott, I have cruised on NCL with the freestyle attitude 10 times.....years ago it was pretty shaky and closet like but in the past few years it has been very gay friendly on NCL...They list daily FOD events(Friends of Dorothy)...The passengers figure out soon enough if u are a couple and they go out of their way to meet the gay people I guess it makes them feel politically correct or they are just decent human beings. I went on an Atalantis and had a blast but was much youger then,. I now prefer NCL and I am going on a solo cruise on their new Epic on January 8th. The Epic has special inside solo staterooms with no surcharge for sinngles and I am only paying $899.00 what a deal for a solo cabin.
You wont have a problem with the crew and staff..The problem you will have is from other passengers. That you cant avoid. Its usually the kids, teens and 20 somthings that give gays problems. It all depends, if you allot of PDAs in public areas, you may have problems from other passengers. If your "straight acting" nobody will notice.
