Golden Princess - LA to Hawaii - departing December 21st

I am doing my first cruise this Christmas and I am wondering if the FOD receptions are something that happen automatically, or does one need to request them before or shortly after the cruise begins? Oh, Canadian guy here, btw, living in Alberta.

I hope to meet up with some othere GLBT cruisers on this ship!

Princess automatically schedules FOD/LGBT meetings. The announcement will be in the daily program (Princess Patter) that is delivered to your cabin.

We sailed on the Golden to Hawaii last year (our 9th Hawaii cruise) and it was delightful.

Advice: The first 2 days and the last 2 days of the cruise will be cool, so bring a light weight jacket or a sweat outfit.
