BF's 50th B'day on Freedom of the Seas

I am toying with giving my BF of 22 years a cruise on Freedom of the Seas. I'm looking at the Feb. 26th, 2012, Eastern Caribbean. I've heard great things about this ship and live near by but wanted to get some feedback on how others liked the ship.

Looking at your signature block, you booked the cruise. What a great gift, did you tell him yet or will be a semi-surprise? Also did you get any feedback on the F.O.S?

I did book it and yes I did have to tell him. He is a lawyer and if he had court, that would have been a big mess.

I'm excited for both of us.
