Nude beach in St. Maarten

Does anyone know how much a taxi is to get from the cruise terminal to Orient Beach? Also, what area is gay; left side or right side? Thanks; just planning my trip!

We went to Orient Beach in December and the cab ride was $20 each way per cab- not pp. Orient Beach covers a lot of ground and a lot of beach areas. Towards the north it was 'family oriented' and to the south it is nude past the sign. We didn't think the areas of Orient Bay we went to were particularly gay, just more nude oriented. We were told Cupecoy on the Dutch side is the main gay beach, bust some more private coves were favorites among those in the know.

Hi. We just went there. Did not really see a gay section. It was definitely what we expected. Mostly straight and not the best in shape. That is what we mostly saw.
