What to wear to a lesbian wedding?

Hello friends,

I was just wondering would both the brides wear a dress or would one wear a dress and one wear a tux ? I would like to know what to wear a lesbian wedding ?

I had a good friend who had a lesbian wedding. She wore an off-white tux and her "bride" wore an off-white dress. As far as what you should wear, you should wear the same exact thing you would wear to any wedding depending upon how formal or casual the ceremony or reception will be.

Whatever they like I suppose, some prefer dresses & some suits depends on what appeals?

So are they getting married on a cruise ship? Taking a cruise for their honeymoon? Or perhaps you're asking this forum because of the targeted audience? ;-)

I prefer to see two women in a wedding dress but in the south, you almost always see one woman in a wedding dress and the other in a tux for civil ceremonies. I'd just be happy if neither one of them wore black casual shoes like my lesbian friend does most every day! Her dogs have "mysteriously" run off with them a couple of times.

, that's a good one! Now if her dog can only mysteriously bring a "new and improved" pair!

My partner and I are engaged, after 8 years! It's funny the people I speak with joke and say, "Who'se wearing the dress?" Short of wanting to slap them upside of the head, I'm really curious why they think someone needs to wear a dress or someone "needs" to wear a tux (for lesbian weddings). You have 2 grooms, or 2 brides. I don't get it...
