Default Thinking of doing a transatlantic cruise!

We are toying with the idea (more so me actually) of doing a transatlantic cruise in late 2013. Does anyone have any tips or insight that I might need to look for while I am doing some research on this? I tend to lean towards Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruise lines.
Thanks and enjoy the rest of your day.

Late 2013 means the TA will be westbound. IMO that is the favored direction. The long flight to meet the ship will be behind you. Running around in the ports will be before the x'ing and trip home from Fl. will be a short drive or flight. Eastboand is completely opposite, excursions and long flight home is at the end of the TA.

RCL and Celebrity provides plenty of ships to choice from; also another option for the one way flight to Europe w/choiceAir. I used choiceair and was able to book thru choiceair for much less than doing myself.

Thanks OFC. I have not used Choice Air before but will not look into it. Thanks again.

Default Great Deal

$719 for an inside stateroom
12 nights on Celebrity Infinity.
This is quite a steal.
May 1st 2013,

Check it out on celebrity cruises.

Default hey

surfguy

I just booked a transatlantic cruise on constellation November 30, 2012 and it only cost me 903.00 for an inside cabin (single supplement included) for a 15 night cruise. i got air from atlanta for 302.00 thru choice air...this is a great deal. also this is my 4th transatlantic and for the money it is great. also i was told that there was a 799.00 per person 15 night panama canel cruise by celebrity but when i was trying to book it, it was sold out already.
