American Queen and 16yr old

HAs anyone ever cruised with or been on a cruise with teens? We are on the AQ July 5th sailing on one of the "Riverbonding" sailings and would like to know if anyone else has gone on this cruise or if there were other tennagers aboard.

We were on the AQ on cruise from Pittsburgh to Memphis in July several years ago. There were very few teens aboard. At that time passengers tended to be in the older range (we were in our 50's and among younger ones). Everyone was great and we really enjoyed the boat and everything about it. As to your teen, a lot depends on him or her. I understand they are trying to do something about that, but can't tell you for sure.

I will be on the ship on June 4th, I would be more than happy to let you know if there were other teenagers on the ship, and what they did.

Also,

Does anyone know what beverages are complimentary; i.e. tea, coke and coffee or are softdrinks not included?

I believe tea and coffee were always available and soda was included with meals, but not otherwise.
