I am trying to find out about employment opportunities. a friend of mine worked for Delta Queen a few yrs and loved it.Any help would be appreciated

Delta Queen was put out of business by the Seamen;s Union who would prefer to see fewer cruise lines and people losing jobs than to have any river boat in the U.S. sailing without their Union members aboard.

You can than James Oberstar - head of the house Transportation committee for scuttling the Delta Queen by not even letting the bill that would have saved her out of his committee and onto the house floor for a fair vote.

when I saw this area I was hoping she was back in business-I had always hoped to do one of these cruises but never got around to it.

I saw an episode of Little People big World, where the family had took one of these cruises,and I thought I should go ahead and book one, only to discover they were out of business.
