Delta Queen visit

my husband and I spent the weekend in Chattanooga and today went aboard the Delta Queen just to look around. at some point we think we are going to go and stay there~it has an awesome old time feel to it and looked like it would be a good experience.

Cutie cat they are running a snowbird special through February, good every night expect February 14.

We stayed in one the better rooms, the Robert E. Lee for around $150 including tax. (about the size of a balcony stateroom on cruise ships)You can get a double bed- room for around $120 including tax. Two twin beds for $10 less. Just make sure you ask for the side of rooms that you have a view of the river.

With that speical breakfast is included, and also a tour of the boat. We also got a 10% discount off of dinner.

BTW Cutie cat, 10 years ago we stayed in a traincar room at Chattanooga Choo Choo- and we paid $150 for that way back then-this was much better in my book!
