Default Vaccinations for Southern Carribean

Do we need to get special vaccinations for going to the Southern Carribean? I am not sure if we would also need the weekly medicine for Malaria?

I would recommend Hepititus A just to be safe. We did.

Went to Dr. (Internal Medicine) who recommended: (1) Shot for Hepatitis "A". (2) Chloroquine phosphate (Malaria) (3) Cipoxacin (General sickness if needed) (4) Flu shot. She is a board certified Dr. of Internal Medicine.

Unless your going to a country where Hepatitis A and Malaria are endemic you do not need to get shots... Also you do not need an antibiotic for the heck of it. You physician is suggesting poor medicine practices.

You physician is suggesting poor medicine practices. I will also note that you can get Hepatitis A on the cruise ship from an infected crew but then everyone would get it. The cruise ships are under strict health inspections this probably wouldn't happen.
