I have been told that Ginger is very effective for prevention of sea sickness/motion. Has anyone taken it? I am considering both patch and gonger and antivert together. Last cruise was terrible because of seasicknes --took antivert only.
I am an avid scuba diver who is very susceptible to sea/motion sickness. The best I've tried is meclazine in either over-the-counter or prescription drugs. The patch is not as good as it was before and I still got sick. Dramamine makes you very sleepy. Meclazine's drawback is a "cotton-mouth" that goes away in a day or so.valerie wrote:
