Default how long to kick in?

I'm not "normally" prone to seasickness, so am hopeful that what most people tell me about "being on a BIG ship" will not make me sick is true. However, just wondering if i DO get seasick, now long before medication kicks in...and is one medication quicker than another? This Bonine.....is it available on the ship?

Karen
Some ships I have been on have Bonine, some have Dramamine. I much prefer the chewable Bonine, works within 15-20 minutes and lasts 24 hours. I don't usually get seasick, but oh those bus rides on the shore excursions!!
