Default Pacemaker

My Mom and Dad will be joining my husband and I on the Carnival Sensation February 3-8th. Mom and Dad have never been on a Cruise before, and I wondering if my Dad needs anything special from his doctor concerning his pacemaker. Does he need something saying he is physically fit....? I would hate to get to the Port and not be able to board the ship.

Thanks in Advance!

Your father won't require any sort of documentation for the ship. However, my mother, who has a pacemaker, has a letter with her so she does not have to go through security check points. She is hand checked.
