prescription question
This is the kind of stupid question that comes from being up all night:
I was wondering if it is ok to bring my prescriptions in one of those "weekly" type pill container, or do I need to bring them in their prescribed medicine bottle? It's nothing more than cholesteral and blood pressure medicine, and xexium, but hate carrying individual bottles.

Re: prescription question
It really is advisable to bring the actual prescription.
You are traveling outside of our country.
If something unthinkable happens, others need to know what medications you are taking.
If for any reason, due to delays or other, you require more medication, then refills would be very hard to obtain.
Better safe than sorry!

Re: prescription question
I've been on a lot of cruises and I take a lot of different medications and I wouldn't even consider not bringing them in their original prescription bottle. I feel safer that way. What if someone thought you were trying to smuggle drugs or something like that. I know when my husband and son and I went on a cruise that stopped in Jamaica, that before we went back onto the ship they searched my bag for drugs and not my son or husband. I know that I felt a lot safer with my pills in the original bottles. I had to take them with me as I have asthma, as well as some other health problems.

I hope this helps....
