As long as she is having no problems with the pregnancy and her doctor gives her the OK to travel/cruise......there should be no problem. But, please advice the cruise line of her status before boarding....better safe than sorry!

My wife was pregnant when we went recently (still is actually!!!).

The cruise line asked her to sign a form indemnifying them against any claim with regard to the pregnancy. ie. You agree that you accept that if you fall over - it's not the cruise line's fault. That sort of thing. As part of the booking conditions (which we read with a fine tooth comb) it stipulated that they would not accept anybody in their 3rd trimestre.

We duly got our doctor to produce a letter confirming edd and good health etc and we took copies of the letter with us just in case they had been lost etc.

At sea.......... no problem really. Take flat shoes. Heels in any sort of sea with extra weight 'in front' is a nightmare. We thought that taking a cruise just before the 3rd Trimestre was a good idea - and so it was.

Best wishes to the both of them...........

Pete :o)
Ps. Read the conditions of booking. That's where anything regarding pregnancy will be put. The cruise line may ask for a letter nearer the date to reconfirm that all is ok.
