vaccines for kids going w. carrib?

hello all. Pediatrician recommended hepatitis A vaccine for my 11 & 15 year old for our cruise to Cozumel, Roatan, Belize & Grand Cayman. Waiting for a call from the health department re:more info.

anyone else familiar with this?

We went to Grand Cayman and Cozumel last year with a 10 yr old and a 14 yr old...had no Hep A vacinnations. We swam in both places. I had Hep A vacinnations this year at my place of employment...it was a series of 3 shots over 6 months. I am not sure if the same doses would be given for the kids...if so...would you have enough time to get them all in before you leave?
