Default Question about cabin location?

As a first time cruiser that is somewhat prone to motion sickness, I have a question. Are the cabins in the back of the ship more prone to motion than the front, middle? We have booked a cruise and have an aft cabin, but I get different opinions on which is better. What do you all prefer? Pros and cons of each? Thanks!

I always book an inside cabin on the lowest level in the middle of the ship. The area has the least amount of movement. Last cruise I only took two Bonine pills the entire cruise. Hope this helps.

Lowest deck possible and near center of the ship. A window or balcony helps as well because you can use the horizon to get your bearings. I used the "patch" and had no problems at all - and I am very prone to motion sickness. Enjoy your cruise - TTFN Jennifer

Hi Greg,
We like to book those "aft" balcony cabins. I have noticed no difference in more motion when in those cabins than other areas, although they say there is less in the middle of the ship. Why not give it a try, you'll love the view and the larger balcony. I do feel a gentle rocking during the night, but it puts you to sleep in no time, nothing that would make you sick. I hope you give it a try and enjoy it.

Have Fun
