motion sickness wonder
Here is a great tip, Ginger Capsules, which can be found in any vitamin store or Target/Walmart work like a charm. Take 2 a couple times a day and you will not have any problems with sea sickness. I am super prone to motion sickness and using a combo of the transderm patch and ginger keeps me feeling absolutely great. I could probably go without the patch but i can't even turn my head fast without getting dizzy :-)
Try it and you will see . . . no side effects and it works great. The only thing is, bring a big bottle. I passed out many to anyone not feeling up to par and they all felt better. Karin |
i am a huge fan of the ginger remedy. I don't take the capsules, i prefer to eat ginger snaps and crystalized ginger candy :) I also drink ginger-ale.
The ginger is just enough to settle the mild queezies. It doesn't work that great for severe motion sickness, that is why you wear the patch. |
Just an FYI.
If you have any of these conditions: allergies, heart problems, gall bladder problems (gall stones), brain or nervous system problems, or if you are pregnant, you should check with your doctor before using ginger. |
Ginger for motion sickness
There is a anti-nausea beverage called "Smooth Sailing" that contains ginger along with other stuff to settle queezy feeling. I never leave the dock with out it now. Also good to have in the car on long trips when the kids start looking a little green. I got mine from a fishery supply company in Bellingham WA, but I think it may be available on elsewhere if you search around for it, or I found they're web site http://www.smoothsailing-thebeverage.com
