Default Amsterdam plumbing???

Oh my, I am just about ready to book the Amsterdam for the Panama Canal in Nov and just read all of the posts about bad plumbing and service!! I believe the cabin I will be in is on Dolphin Deck - I am going on the Single Partner Program so may or may not have a cabin mate. That is a little scarey - thinking about sharing a cabin with someone I don't know - but the time frame is right and the single price is certainly right - if there is a toilet!!

Any and all feedback is very very welcome!!

Thanks.

Judi

Judi,
I was on the same sailing of Amsterdam as Carole (when she had all her plumbing problems). Fortunately we, and no one else we spoke to complained of similar problems.

Regards,
Kuki

Thanks Kuki!
I went ahead and booked and just heard back last night that I can have a cat H to myself for an extra 300. Great news, I think! I was a little concerned that there may be a problem with those cabins, but this is a fairly new ship, so I don't know how bad it could be. Too bad about the people who had a bad experience. I read a lot of terrible things about Millennium before I went on it myself in Feb and she was beautiful, no problems. Vibration a little noticeable from time to time, but nothing really disruptive.

Do you know anything about the difference between cat H and cat C on MsAmsterdam? Can you think of any reason that they would be willing to let the Hs go for singles at a discount?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, Judi ...

Have you checked the location of the Cat H cabins compared to Cat C?

I have a Rotterdam deck plan in front of me and C's are on the Dolphin (lowest passenger deck, way up in the bow. C's are on the Lower Promenad Deck, admidships. I imagine the layout is almost the same on Amsterdam.

Happy sails !!!
