Check with your airline!

We are going to S. America in November and I just happened to check with orbitz.com with which we had booked our air tickets. Many of the airlines are cancelling non-stop flights, including ours. I was able to switch to other flights that change in Miami but seats already were running tight on those flights.

Be warned, the airline can cancel your flight. Be forearmed, call and be prepared to choose other flights if necessary. Do so asap.
