LOWER PRICES ON THE ZAANDAM NOV.30 01

I NOTICED THAT THE FARES ARE CHEAPER NOW THAN WHEN I BOOKED IT--I'VE READ THAT HAL WON'T HONOR THE LOWER FARES IN THAT CASE--I WONDER IF IT'S POSSIBLE TO GET AN UPGRADE--I'M BOOKED FOR A GUARANTEED INSIDE MY BOOKING WAS MADE EARLY IN THE SUMMER WTH A GROUP--I'VE HAD MANY CRUISES WITH THEM--BUT HAVE NEVER HAD AN UPGRADE--I CAN'T SAY THE SAME FOR RCI WHICH I FEEL I WILL BE ONLY SAILING WITH THEM FROM NOW ON--I WILL SEE HOW THIS CRUISE WTH HAL-STACKS UP WITH RCI--BY THE END OF THIS YEAR I WILL HAVE HAD 5 CRUISES SINCE FEB-3RD WITH RCI--AND I LOVED EVERY ONE OF THEM--IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS HAD AN
UPGRADE FROM HAL???

yes, our last HAL cruise on the Volendam we were upgraded 4 catagories, also we just received a reduction on our new years cruise on the Veendam.....jean

We had a inside guarantee on our 10/21 cruise on the Zaandam. The price went down $100 per person about 2 weeks before we left and it didn't say only for new bookings. We received the $200 credit and ended up in an "L" cabin on main deck in the rear of the boat. Other times we've booked inside guarantees and ended up outside and one time we got exactly what we booked - the lowest inside cabin. It all depends on how busy the ship is, I think. Check on HAL's board to see if the new price says for new bookings only. If not, ask for a refund.
