Kids' program

Any opinions on Club HAL? Our kids will be 5 and 7 when we go.

I was 14 when I went. Club HAL was fun. They did a very good job with it and the director was very nice. The program for children is not extremely large scince HAL caters more to adults than families. There is just a nice skyroom on the sports deck if you're on Rotter, Amster, Volen, Zaan, or Maas that does not have extensive amenities like Princess or RCI but it does have a large T.V. and fun activities for the kids.

Thanks for the response. We have sailed HAL five times but have never used Club HAL because our kids were not old enough. When we sail they will be 5 and 7. Are the activities different on each ship?

The activities are probably the same on all the ships except that Maasdam has a special Club HAL program that I've heard is better.
