Default boarding ship

Our papers say we can start boarding @ 3:00. Has anyone boarded earilier? What is the best time to arrive to avoid the most amount of people trying also to get aboard? We will be staying with some friends, so it doesn't matter to us what time is the best. Thanks in advance

Default Re: boarding ship

If you are embarking at Port Everglades, they usually start boarding pax at about 1:15 P.M. The terminal usually has many people whose documents are all processed waiting to board. HAL boards pax very smoothly and quickly. There are rarely very long lines unless several buses arrived at exactly the same time. And even then, it moves fast as they have alot of shore workers on hand to do the processing.
