Amsterdam Dec 1, 2002

Any of you HAL cruisers taking this voyage. It will be my second cruise and my first solos. Although I am trying to convience a friend's mother (my adopted mom) to join me. She lost her husband of 57 years last month, and I (and the rest of the family) are tryng to get her to go with me. We all this a December cruise would be good for her.

Was on Amsterdam early June. It's a beautiful ship and HAL service is the best; I hope you can convince your "mom" to go! I'm sure it would be very good for her, and great for the two of you to share this time together. There are some great reviews and info posted both here and on the Cruise Critic board, maybe that, along with pix in the brochure, would help convince her. Good luck!
